School Closure Due To Snow

Dear Parent
In view of the weather conditions, the Chairman and I have taken a decision to close school tomorrow in the interests of everyone’s safety. It’s a hard call to make but we believe more snow is forecast during the night and the temperature is to drop. I understand there is also a fallen tree on the Seven Mile Straight and also reports of an accident further along.
I wanted to let you know now rather than make a last minute decision in the morning.
I apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate that all our pupils will be greatly disappointed!
